Who Am I?
My medical experience and passion for wellbeing began with my nursing career, starting in Intensive Care and later working as a Theatre Sister in plastic surgery and gynaecology. I then moved into the private nursing sector, working for several organisations providing services to the healthcare industry.
During this time, I specialised in latex allergy, completed an Endoscopy course, and travelled extensively across the UK and abroad, presenting to medical professionals on equipment sterilisation and infection control. After 15 years in nursing, and following extensive training in 2006, I set up my own company, with a growing focus on skincare management and treatments.
In 2007, I was awarded a bursary from the RCN, one of only five awarded in the UK, in recognition of my patient care. I am also a qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber, with a mentorship qualification.

My philosophy is to provide a service of assessment and diagnosis first before any treatment is undertaken. Getting to the root cause rather than just offering treatments leads to better more consistent results. As my patient, I have a duty of care to look after you and this will always be my main priority. Outside of the clinic
My core interests are through my faith. I sponsor two children through Compassion. I support mission work at home and abroad, through Reach Beyond, Renew HG1, Mercy Ships and Netmakers. I also support Mowbray Community Church events, as this is my main place of worship.
I walk most days, and often can be seen around Harrogate with my husband Colin, always wearing a hat of some sort of course!
